Codexes Vs. Codices

[edit]

The plural of "codex" is "codices." I have corrected this. No, no, put your money away; this one's on me. 80.47.131.161 17:16, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe GW uses the plural Codexes when referring to their products... I have to look into it. --Falcorian (talk) 21:43, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Here for example. http://us.games-workshop.com/Community/Moderators/grahamm.htm I'm going to change it back to fit with GW. --Falcorian (talk) 21:45, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clean up required

[edit]

Much of this article has its information doubled: things from the bibliography find themselves written out, at length, in the prose sections of the article. I'm going to edit it down, and then mark it as a stub. Much of the information is unsourced, and feels self-authored. McNeill does fit WP:N, but W:NPOV is more dicey. As the subject is still alive and working, more thorough editing to conform to W:BLP is needed. Imaginestigers (talk) 10:09, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A list of what was changed in most recent edit:

  • Informal use of former name changed to surnames
  • Links to various books were removed, given that they all redirected to the same page, The Black Library and The Horus Heresy.
  • Removed near-intimate details of McNeill's thoughts and perspectives, altered them to more clearly fit W:NPOV.
  • Added a few citation needed templates for details which might be source able, but currently are not.
  • Contradictory sources about when McNeill studied architecture at university, not solved by Googling. For now, I've left up the reference to Glasgow Caledonian University, but removed the education section on the table because it was unsourced and saying he studied at the University of Strathclyde. The GCU seems substantiated until better sourcing can be found.
