Find correct name
The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

There's nothing more here than the bare fact of the existance of the Governate. The entire text of the article has been copy-pasted to at least 5 other articles, with different names. They all ouuld be merged without loss of anything, and the text would only occur in ONE place. If there's anythhing to say about the Governotate period, that's what the text of the article shouold include, but whatever that text is, is already in History of Pernambuco, History of Brazil, Colonial Brazil, Dutch Brazil, and other places. As it is, I have to read those articles, as well as the five or so about the governates, in order to get the history.Sbalfour (talk) 20:09, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
