Outdated/Needs Expert

I believe that this article discusses numerous complex financial matters and has many unsourced quotes.

Further more the rapidly changing/changed circumstances of GSE's means this article is largely outdated and probably needs the help of an expert in the field to wikify it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.217.141.243 (talk) 04:08, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

I disagree

There's really nothing financially complicated or outdated here. It's a good, userul starter article. Other users will be able to expand and edit it which is, as I understand it, one of the main purposes and uses of Wikipedia.

I really think the "no cite's" tag at the head of this short article should be deleted. It's not necessary to always cite the source of every statement of fact in an article, especially in a short article like this which has a good References and Links section included. Where/when appropriate the "citation needed" should be used or an internal link provided to take the reader/user to a relevant reference or link in the article's References and Links section, or to an existing Wikipedia article.

Lastly, if only "experts" were allowed to write Wikipedia articles, there really wouldn't be much content in Wikipedia to read. True experts -- professionals -- prefer to publish in the journals or publications of their profession through which they gain recognition of their peers, or else write for other publications which are willing to pay them for their articles.
