Merge proposed

[edit]

Very early in the life of this article, it was redirected to Cross River Gorilla, which was the right thing to do. Later, Cross River Gorilla was renamed to Cross River gorilla. At that point or at some other point, the redirect was undone (by a bot, maybe).

In any event, the small amount of content in this article needs to be merged into Cross River gorilla, and then this article needs to be turned back into a redirect. If one of the gorilla-loving watchers of this page wants to check all of the content in this article to ensure that appropriate content and references appear on the Cross River gorilla page, I'll be happy to turn this page back into a redirect when you're done. – Jonesey95 (talk) 04:57, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the merge proposal, seems a no brainer really to me. They are the same thing, one the common name and the other the scientific. I am too lazy and/or busy to sort it out my self though. The common name is nearly always better, and is here too. I also notice the common name article is present in 15 other language wikipedias, but the sci name is in no other languages. Plagiarism

[edit]

Parts of the General Information and Anatomy sections of this article are clearly plagiarized from this article. I reverted those changes with an explanation and notified the editor who added the text, but that editor reverted my changes. – Jonesey95 (talk) 11:59, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
