Another editor?
[edit]Someone might like to cross check the two records as shown by two refs to see if the wins & losses check out. My eyes are going round in circles. Sorry, Manytexts (talk) 06:50, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
Should be under "William Landon Jones"
[edit]Particularly since there was another fighter known as Gorilla Jones ("The Fighting Gorilla") (whose real name is lost to posterity), and there was a "Young Gorilla Jones" after that. The Cocoa Kid is under his real name, Herbert Lewis Hardwick, though William Ward is under his nomme de guerre Kid Norfolk. Shemp Howard, Jr. (talk) 03:31, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Gorilla Jones
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Gorilla Jones's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 16:01, 8 October 2018 (UTC)
