It is worth noting that the phrase here is being strained to the limit, given that not only is any plot resemblance between this movie and the book on which it is laughably claimed to be based purely incidental, but that even some characters change not only allegiance but species, even before you count those made purely out of whole cloth. While this isn't necessarily unheard of where movie adaptations are made, it is very strange to see Sarm become a human villain or to have a son for Tarl Cabot to kill, let alone make an appearance in the movie in the first place. I could go on at length worthy of John Norman himself, but time and space don't permit and the reader's eyes would surely weary of it. Captain Pedant (talk) 14:47, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
