Hi Jules*, I don't see how any part of this article is edited for pay or the page itself created for pay. Please can you explain your reasoning? This a an article about a past president of a country, so I wonder why somebody will pay somebody to edit or create it. I'm waiting for your response. [edit conflict] Hi Idoghor Melody. Did you check the links I provided? Edits made in 2015 by Mujibvisa are UPE, very likely for a large economic intelligence French firm, Avisa Partners, who edited numerous Wikipedia articles with (sometimes subtle) POV.
Why this hurry? Can you let me enough time to reply? Why do you say "without anymore explanation", I gave an explanation in the diff. "I can't see anywhere Mujibvisa edited this page": so you didn't look hard enough. Best, — Jules*talk17:02, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
PS: If you reviewed the article and it is OK, you are welcome to remove the template; I just want to be sure it has been reviewed. — Jules*talk17:13, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Jules*: Agreed I didn't look hard enough as I only saw a part and I was hoping for something very recent. Tagging a page with UPE for an edit made in 2015(7 years ago) doesn't sounds nice. A lot has changed in the article over the years and many experienced editors have this page under their watchlist. I reacted quickly to this in good faith as it is on my watchlist, and I didn't see anything that warrant the tag. Imagine tagging Elizabeth II with UPE for an edit made 7 years ago... It does seem somehow, doesn't it? The article in it's current state is very ok and doesn't require that tag. It should be removed, I hope you understand.
OK, with that explanation. En-wp is not my home wiki, so I always tag with UPE articles which have been subject to UPE; I reverted you because you removed the template without any comment. But be aware that this agency edited articles on fr-wp about known people (not Elizabeth II though) in a lot of watchlists, such as fr:Bernard Arnault, but with subtle enough edits to not be noticed. — Jules*talk17:27, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
