A fact from GoldieBlox appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 8 July 2013 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Goldie Blox is a toy designed by a Stanford-educated engineer to introduce girls to engineering?
This article consists almost entirely of blow-by-blows of TV advertisements, which feels pretty off-mission for Wikipedia. I'm not even certain this company is notable other than getting in a scrap with the Beastie Boys; I've never heard of them outside of that incident. This page needs to be merged / moved with https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/GoldieBlox becoming the primary page. The correct name of the company is GoldieBlox, not Goldie Blox, as per the homepage of their website. I couldn't see how to do this since both pages exists. ----
The tone of this article, especially the introduction, reads far too much like an advertisement for GoldieBlox and lacks an encyclopedic tone. The first sentence: "GoldieBlox is an award-winning, interactive toy company on a mission to inspire the next generation of female innovators," sounds like a marketing hook rather than a neutral wikipedia entry. I'm tagging this with the advert template. Nisf (talk) 14:31, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
