[edit]Previously, 190.135.73.254 deleted the Category:Jewellery companies by country reference to this article without explaination. As the original editor of the article I searched for appropriate categories to add to the article content; however, previous categories were ill-fitting and so I took initiative and created appropriate categories that would logically lead a user to the subject matter. This company not only engages in retail operations with the sale of jewellery goods to consumers but also engages in other areas of the jewellery industry including fabrication of goods for sale. Hence, the category Category:Jewellery companies of Turkey would be apropos here as a wikipedia user may search for the Goldas company not specifically with its retail operations in mind. It would be more appropriate then to perhaps have left the more general category Category:Jewellery companies of Turkey rather than the particular category Category:Jewellery retailers of Turkey as the article describes the general operations of the company and not just its particular retail business. Seeing that both categories seem valid and could be further populated, I saw justification for their creation. Kjmonkey (talk) 07:52, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is my first attempt at writing an article. I came upon this company as a consequence of following the bullish gold market and searching gold related articles online. I came across a spectacular story of Société Générale and its misplaced consignment of gold bullion with a Turkish jewelry company named Goldaş Kuyumculuk. I searched the term in the public wikipedia space and found some lists like List of companies of Turkey and Companies listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange that referenced Goldaş but had no article on the company. Herein lies my best effort to bring to the fore encyclopedic knowledge of the genesis of Goldaş and its present day world headlines.
If there are any issues, allow me to fix them or if you so please, don't hesitate to address them directly. Thanks! Kjmonkey (talk) 11:53, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
