The result of the move request was: Move to list of gold medal awards. There seems to be consensus that the present title is unclear, and this appears to be the most supported option. Cúchullain t/c 14:56, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
Gold medal awards → List of gold medals – Since this is a list article, this seems like a clearer name and would help to clarify the difference between this article and Gold medal RevelationDirect (talk) 01:45, 13 March 2016 (UTC) 01:45, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose that's not a clearer name, it's just as bad, since this is not a list of gold medals awarded. A list of gold medals would list the gold medals awarded when it was awarded ant the recipient it was awarded to. Instead Gold medal (set index) should be used -- 70.51.46.39 (talk) 05:30, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
- Comment I've no problem with it being renamed and a redirect left, but surely the title should be List of gold medal awards because, as IP70 says, it will otherwise become a list of gold medal winners too. This was originally a disambiguation page but is very evidently now a list. Sionk (talk) 11:11, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
- That's a valid point, my intent wasn't to turn it into a list of people. Just to make it clearer that's it's a list article (for awards). RevelationDirect (talk) 15:40, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
- Comment we are missing similar lists for silver and bronze... so we are missing navigation to those awards -- 70.51.46.39 (talk) 06:14, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
