US edition
[edit]I find no copy of any edition in the U.S. Library of Congress Catalog (Anne Fine).
WorldCat library records give (c)1989 but we know that. Several booksellers at ABE list 1989 Joy Street Books (an imprint of Little, Brown) but those may be copyright dates. Here's a print listing of US editions of 13 of her books including this one (Joy Street/Little, Brown, 1989).

- (Anne Fine is one of thirteen children's authors interviewed.)

- Hours later I have improved the situation, getting LCCN from a Harvard University Libraries catalog record[1] that also attests [a] US title My War ... and [b] Joy Street Books, with same ISBN as the unsatisfactory Ext link.
- 1989 as date of US issue is still in doubt. --P64 (talk) 16:48, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
