Merge proposal

[edit]

I propose merging the new article Lake zereh depression into this article. That Wiki article itself is the primary Web reference for the term, and every other web reference I can find cites Godzareh (Goad Zereh) rather than Lake Zereh. I am thinking they are identical and Zereh is just an alternate spelling. Chuckiesdad (talk) 19:48, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

After further research, I withdraw this proposal. The Godzareh depression is the terminus of the Lake Zereh depression (Sistan basin) and is not identical. Chuckiesdad/Talk/Contribs 03:43, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think they are the same thing. There is no reference for the assertion that Lake zereh depression refers to the whole Sistan Basin, and it seems to be incorrect. گوده زره (Gowdeh Zereh) seems to mean "Zereh depression" in Persian. The only reference for Zereh in Geonames is the Godzareh depression, so I have gone ahead with the merge. --Mhockey (talk) 09:46, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
