Gogyo and Godai
[edit]Gogyo is an idea of Onmyōdō based on Chinese philosophy. On the other hand, Godai originated from Indian philosophy and was adopted into Buddhism. Neither is a Shinto term. In several authoritative Japanese encyclopedias, those terms are not associated with Shinto at all. Even if some shrines borrow the term, do not include it in the Shinto term. I cite the Asahi Shimbun's website, which is a compilation of several authoritative Japanese encyclopedias.[1][2]--Green cigarette (talk) 12:43, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
Language templates
[edit]All of them are wrong! It should be:
{{nihongo3|<english>|<kanji>|<romaji>}}
and we have:
{{nihongo|<romaji>|<kanji>, <english>}}
The result is that English text gets tagged as Kanji, and transliterated Japanese is processed as English. Apart from causing ugly fonts in my browser, this is bad for blind users. It would be a nightmare to fix this all manually, so I might have to go and learn regex if no one else can fix it. small jars tc

- Well I have done that now. It was simpler than I expected. Some of the entries might still be wrong. small jars
