I don't understand: I rewrited the article completely, and in a very neutral style. And I cannot find the same words at: http://www.duras-project.net/index.php?id=4&lang=eng.

I would like to ask a question: if I write the official definition of FAO on a website and then someone writes an article in Wikipedia about FAO and uses the same definition, will the article be deleted because it uses the same text as I use on my website?

I am only trying to write a basic description of the Global Forum, exactly in the same way as there are descriptions of FAO, CGIAR etc. It is an international body and we are not trying to do PR.

Thank you,

You're right, and I have withdrawn the tag. That said, if you're as connected with the organization as you appear to be, I suggest taking a look at Wikipedia's guidelines on conflict of interest. Thanks, and take care. --Finngall talk 18:44, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I read the guidelines on conflict of interest and maybe in part I have to be more careful. Actually, I am not an employee of GFAR, but I work for some agricultural information systems one of which is GFAR. It seems there is very little information on these networks on Wikipedia. I know only a couple well, but I was thinking of starting some articles and then let more informed people to continue. Unfortunately, the most informed people on these networks are people who have been / are invoved with them.

I will try to use a very neutral tone and only factual information. Thank you, --Gfar 09:06, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
