Disambiguation

[edit]

I know this airport is actually called "Glasgow Airport", but shouldn't this be a disambg page with links to all the Glasgow Airports (including Glasgow International and Prestwick)? --87.74.27.64 11:19, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agree - the Scotland airport is of greater prominence than the U.S. airport, so a disambiguation page would be appropriate here--jrleighton 02:06, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

I also agree, and since this notice has been up for a month with no objections, I'll make the change. Dbinder 23:21, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A large amount of un-referenced information about Glasgow Air Force Base has been added to this article recently. I'm moving these data to that article, since it belongs there. I'll maintain a reference to Glasgow AFB, here to direct readers. --Ltvine | Talk 22:53, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, information about the former AFB doesn't apply to Glasgow's civilian airport -- they're two separate fields. The former AFB is actually several miles north of town at a place called St. Marys, while the civilian airport referenced by this article is right on the edge of Glasgow. The AFB info really doesn't belong in this article and should be restored to a separate article. McGehee (talk) 17:25, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
