Notability
[edit]Untitled
[edit]According to WP:PROF, if the person holds or has held a named/personal chair appointment or "Distinguished Professor" appointment at a major institution of higher education and research, that is considered sufficient notability for inclusion. This professor has a named chair at Columbia University, a major institution of higher education and research. She has many publication and has been quoted in major newspapers and journals. I intend adding more to the page over the next few days but, even without that, the page satisfies notability according to WP:PROF. --[[User:GnomishGhoulish (talk) 03:54, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
