Sounds like soccer or something. --Wetman 05:57, 29 September 2005 (UTC) Someone edited out the last section despite it being true, ive fixed it, dont change it again, its true! adam It's rugby union.[reply]

If we could put an IP block on any IP addresses from the province of Munster, then your problems with this Wiki entry would be history.

The fanboy gushing needs to be toned down. Zoe (216.234.130.130 17:00, 20 December 2005 (UTC))[reply]

Zoe give it a rest. Nothing wrong with people idolising their heroes.

Its a bit unfair. They're like, totally extracting the urine out of Girvan.

A true champion

It's hardly neutral, get a clue.

A national hero in Ireland so idiolising is permitted. Sam Kekovich you know it makes sense

There is nothing wrong with people idolising heros. However we can't have gushing in wikipedia articles. Everything that is added has to be verifyable, which means that personal opionions (ggod or bad) can't go in. Uria Girvanae?

Good heavens, that's funny. -- comment by 82.156.212.49 on Oct 3, 2007.

This deliberate joke has been discussed at a prominent blog and on wikiEn-l. DGG (talk) 18:58, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Heh. Unfortunately, however, that book is now presumably a reliable source. --jbmurray (talkcontribs) 03:47, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As it has been added a number of times, I've semi-protected the article for a while. DGG (talk) 19:37, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
