Potentially controversial subjects and avoiding coatracking

[edit]

This article is about a 2022 Lifetime film starring Anne Heche, but also discusses a conspiracy theory connecting the death of actress Anne Heche to this film, and may also include discussion of human trafficking awareness campaigns associated with this film. Please be aware that issues around human trafficking may be controversial, associated with both conspiracy theories such as QAnon and with controversies over the framing of human trafficking and sex trafficking issues and claimed statistics about trafficking (see, for example Human_trafficking#Criticism), as well as about organizations like the Polaris Project that are associated with particular views on this issue.

Discussion about human trafficking or trafficking conspiracy theories should be strictly limited to the film content or publicity directly linked to this film. It should not be used as a WP:COATRACK for larger issues around human trafficking or for conspiracy theories.
