It isn't quite clear that the altered date of death, in an edit that's just been reverted, was incorrect. The Italian page is currently inconsistent as between lead, text and infobox, because of a recent incomplete edit by a named account that was intended to make the Italian article agree with the DBI (which is usually reliable). Yes, it does. So I think your revert was correct. I just didn't feel sure, and I wouldn't have regarded the anonymous edit here as vandalistic. It agrees with Wikidata, for example. (Which agrees with the Russian wiki, and that agreement, I must add immediately, is often a warning flag.) Andrew Dalby13:13, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
