Fair use rationale for Image:Keisha bromwellhigh.JPG

[edit]

Image:Keisha bromwellhigh.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Birth name

[edit]

Is there a source for her middle name? Additionally, 'original research' though it is, there don't appear to be any UK birth records for a 'Gina Yashere' or 'Gina Iyashere', in 1974 or otherwise; there is however the 1969 birth of a 'Regina Osatohanwen B. E. O. Iyashere', mother's maiden name 'Obaseki', at Islington. There is also a company record for a 'Regina Iyashere' born 1974, occupation listed as 'entertainer' (alongside a Lila Rowe; searches for 'Gina Yashere' and 'Lila' are suggestive also), which might be corroborative. She has a brother- see, for example, https://www.instagram.com/p/BsvUsBTniRb/?utm_source=ig_twitter_share&igshid=18ev0nf9ner6f - and Iyashere births with a mother's maiden name of 'Obaseki' bring up two other individuals born within the next three years at the same place, at least one of whom, Edwin, is clearly male given the name (the other name is- presumably- of Nigerian origin, thus I cannot tell whether it is male or female).

Gina Yashere having a brother Edwin corroborated here: https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2018/jun/15/gina-yashere-i-once-had-a-haircut-that-made-me-look-like-a-cotton-bud

Also having a sister here: https://www.facebook.com/ginaisfunny/posts/conversation-with-my-mummum-your-younger-sister-has-taught-me-to-textme-great-im/10151083286433613/

Naturally since published sources (presumably? The article is unclear) indicate her name to be 'Gina Obedapo Yashere (formerly Iyashere)', this is all just 'for the record' given Wikipedia policy precludes original research.

Mock the week

[edit]

Mock the Week is missing from the list of TV appearances. she was on it many times. 146.199.238.75 (talk) 07:09, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing this out. I added her appearances on that show to the table; it was already mentioned in the body of the article. NOLA1982 (talk) 16:03, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
