[edit]

The MASSIVE deletion of a great deal of "adapted" Gilgamesh's was unnecessary and reduced this page's utility. I have reverted to the previous version before the large cut. Thanks.

There was a huge deletion, which has since been restored. Thanks. Theguyinblue 09:30, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Argentine Comic

[edit]

Gilgamesh was also a well known argentine comic realesed from 1969 to 1975. Here a link to the Spanish wikipedia article, so anyone can add it. Here's the article — Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.142.38.154 (talk) 19:20, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Zeman's Gilgamesh.jpg

[edit]

Image:Zeman's Gilgamesh.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Neutral Point of View

[edit]

While it may certainly be possible that the Iraq War has added some level of interest to this topic, no verification is offered. Further, while political viewpoints surrounding the war comprise a hot issue at the time of this writing, recognize that from the standpoint of an encylopedia article, the statements are likely to come across to a neutral observer as somewhat tilted toward an anti-war stance (and I can foresee a fair amount of argument back and forth if this type of statement is left alone). We're only here to present the facts, and in this case, the facts simply don't support the assertions. Bdmccray (talk) 22:52, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There's a large number of dead links here. I am going through and removing the tags unless there is a function for these unlinked tags I have missed?Wiki-proofer-and-tagger (talk) 23:53, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
