Should thrash metal be on the genres list?
[edit]Some time ago, someone inserted "Thrash metal" into the genres list. I removed that with the edit summary "no point in having both deathrash and thrash metal". Someone reinserted it back with edit summary "There is [a point] when the band stops playing deathrash to focus on thrash metal and crossover." I still think this doesn't make sense. Is there any piece of music from this band (other than instrumental parts) which would be classified as Thrash Metal rather than Death/Thrash metal? I don't think so, first of all because of the vocals. Comments on this are welcome. Rbarreira 14:31, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Splatterthrash is a pure thrash album. The vocals are the ONLY death ,metal part of it. We came for the Dead was there only pure death album. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.238.12.61 (talk) 18:45, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
What about goregrind? It is described as a sub-genre of death metal with lyrics that focus on gore and forensic pathology. Goregrind bands also don't usually take themselves too seriously. I think Ghoul fits this criteria perfectly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gypsysmoke (talk • contribs) 20:03, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
Introduction
[edit]Do you think if we worked hard at it we could make the introduction sound a little bit more POV? It's not quite hagiographic enough for me at present :-). Blackmetalbaz (talk) 13:22, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
