women could walk without men seeing them?

[edit]

i came to this site, because i read somewhere [1] that the women could move (over the rooftops?) without being seen by men. Could someone explain why and how and if there are any famous stories related? Cheers, 141.76.106.131 (talk) 13:26, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

North Western Libya

[edit]

It's clearly not Southwestern Libya by any stretch of the imagination. Changing. Silas Maxfield (talk) 03:48, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Missing definition for pre-Saharan

[edit]

It does not seem clear what pre-Saharan city means. I think most people who read this article would not understand what it means, including myself. In fact, I can't find anything online that explains what it means. I think it not only requires explanation, but also a reliable reference, Einar Ólafsson (talk) 22:12, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Under the section "etymology" the word "Tidamesi" is hyperlinked, but the hyperlink just opens up the page of Ghadames again which it is on itself. 2A02:1210:1CA7:D700:959B:95FB:3000:C945 (talk) 12:15, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
