[edit]It should be stated, rather boldly, that Ms. Jeanette was THE first female taxi cab driver in the United States, and therefore all of North America!
There are no details about her family life, either growing up, or married (was she a veteran during World War II? or an American Legion volunteer? What were some of her exploits? As it was with some confounding confusion that she finally published her auto-biography near the end of her life, as of this writing, not one copy of it can be found anywhere!
