Elder and Elderly

English got a fine line between Elder and Elderly. Elders in the days of yore were apt people age 30 to 40. A gerontocracy chooses elderly over elder. Change Pelosi pic?

While Pelosi's image may have been previously been good as an example of American gerontocracy, I feel like the fact that she's no longer Speaker makes the picture outdated. How bout McConnel and/or Feinstein? NickCT (talk) 13:13, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
