[edit]Skaftfellingur was a 60 ton merchant ship carrying frozen fish to Fleetwood - it was not a trawler. The story of this rescue is told in the booklet Saga Skaftfellings VE 33 - Ágrip, by Arnþór Helgason and Sigtryggur Helgason - there's a chapter near the end in English, and another in German, and all versions are quite accurate, however I do not have the time to write a proper excerpt from it to the page at the moment.
