[edit]- Lede
- "the ship made multiple successful minelaying sorties off the English coast that claimed 18 merchant ships and a destroyer" - Those were due to the mines rather than the sorties, I persume.
- "was transferred to France" relocated, rather than handed over, I guess
- Construction and career
- "The ship participated in the August 1938 Fleet Review as part of the 3rd Destroyer Division." - Links to the Commonwealth one, but refers to the 22 August 1938 review in Kiel, I would say.
- "escorting Adolf Hitler aboard the pocket battleship Deutschland to occupy Memel." - Did Hitler occupy Memel on his own?
- "Under the command of Commodore Friedrich Bonte[11] in his flagship Hermann Künne" - Should link to Kommodore.
- Fate
- According to this article, she was handed over to the Soviets on 15 December 1945 and left for Libau on 5 February 1946, where she served as Zorkyj until she was scrapped in 1961. But I will check on this.

- While I appreciate your close reading, these comments have nothing to do with a B-class assessment and are far more appropriate for a GAN. Nonetheless, I've addressed these issues so see how they read.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 01:37, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- It seemed a bit harsh to me, too, but there were just too many oversights adding up, which resulted in "obvious [...] inaccuracies]], as it says in the B2 criteria. If I hadn't read up on Z14 beforehand, I might have been more forgiving. B-class now. ÄDA - DÄP VA (talk) 04:38, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- But what was actually inaccurate? Some of the links needed to be fixed and some language clarified, but there wasn't anything factually incorrect, IMO. Your language seemed a bit extreme to me.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 05:19, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- I might have overdone it a bit at the time, but digging deeper I found some more inaccuracies, e.g. the displacement was a mix-up of the Deschimag and Germania batch. The bigger question is how much "not just right" differs from "not quite wrong"? ÄDA - DÄP VA (talk) 08:27, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
