(this war exists and deserves an article, it is significant in German and Danish history and in the Ottonian influence of European power, I do my best to expand this article. ) --Docd13 (talk) 01:26, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox "Result"

[edit]

Please note that Template:Infobox military conflict#Parameters states against "result" that "this parameter may use one of two standard terms: "X victory" or "Inconclusive"." The infobox has been amended to reflect this. Please read the template "result" guidance in full before amending or reverting. It would probably be best to discuss any proposed change here first to seek consensus. Thanks. Gog the Mild (talk) 18:53, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Olav Tryggvason's involvement

[edit]

Hello GusGusBrus. Per Olav Tryggvason's saga, section 26 quotes:

"From Vendland King Burislav followed him with a large army, and in this company, he had his son-in-law — Olav Tryggvason"

From this, it does not seem that Olav commanded any "Norwegian Rebels", rather it seems he fought on besides of Wendland and his father-in-law. I looked through earlier sections of the saga to find anything about "Norwegian Rebels", yet cannot.

From where in the saga do you get this idea? - Tinkaer1991 (talk) 00:49, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
