Pronunciation of name

Sorry for the brief edit explanation. I thought it was strange to have a phrase like "while X is not obvious" when X might very well be obvious to someone, a handful of experts somewhere, or conceivably to many people. If there is a cite that it isn't obvious, then I think it ought to be added there. Also putting a guess in a Wikipedia article ("possibly the original French …") seemed strange to me unless it was a cited guess ("Scientist X speculates that the newly discovered galaxy could contain Y"). I understand now with the revert explanation that the phrases are relevant to Nolst Trenité's works on English pronunciation, but I still think they are assertions that need cites of some kind.--Cam (talk) 00:55, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
