I worked on this yesterday while updating Windows, even though the library's published hard copy books about Virginia governors ended with the 1970s (just as Baliles was beginning his statewide officeholding). For what it's worth, the desktop machine with database access crashed all browser windows after I accessed an article about his continued lobbying for education as late as 2018 (which I wasn't able to reaccess). Nonetheless, I managed rough chronological order. I don't know when or if I'll find the UVA/Miller Center movie about his term, or visit the Library of Virginia. I know the section about his AG term is so skeletal it seems almost disrespectful. Surely there's more of a bio out there, that needs citing.Jweaver28 (talk) 01:41, 15 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I did more cleanup on this, but haven't viewed the 2003 Miller Center video, which I understand is now on YouTube, in part because I understand the site's on wikipedia's blacklist.Jweaver28 (talk) 23:58, 18 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
