Rumors

[edit]

Like I said in the Kim Chiu page, I really don't think it's necessary to put that Kim and Gerald are rumored to be seeing each other, since rumors are rumors, and aren't welcome on Wikipedia. Unless someone can provide a Rumors section, which I highly doubt is necessary, since there aren't any controversies rising other than "Kimerald".Sammyluvlucas 02:24, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

Anderson appeared on a top rating Philippine primetime drama, main cast of a sitcom, a teen show, and a movie (with acting nomination), released 2 dance album compilations, and numerous product endorsements. Isn't that enough for the notability criteria? --bluemask (talk) 06:16, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Geraldsdancepicks.jpg

[edit]

Image:Geraldsdancepicks.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

"Kimeralanderson"

[edit]

This page same as Kim Chui's page are continuously being edited by their fans, apparently stated in the history w/ username -"Kimeralanderson". Such contributor indicates biased entries which cannot be considered/qualified to be part of an encyclopedia entry such as this. Pls do appropriate sanction/s towards the contributor and on the pages (Gerald Anderson's and Kim Chui's page). 125.60.204.83 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 10:00, 21 February 2010 (UTC).[reply]

What should I do?
Speedy deletions at commons tend to take longer than they do on Wikipedia, so there is no rush to respond. If you feel the deletion can be contested then please do so (commons:COM:SPEEDY has further information). Otherwise consider finding a replacement image before deletion occurs.

File:Gerald Anderson in Your Song.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:Gerald Anderson in Your Song.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Segregated 2 Infoboxes

[edit]

Noticed the acting career Infobox was deleted and was replaced by basketball player Infobox. I recovered the acting career Infobox to place it on top for Gerard Anderson is more known as a showbiz personality. I placed the basketball player Infobox in the basketball career subject. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Manilaskies (talkcontribs) 05:33, 28 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
