We shouldn't be able to figure out your opinions. It is important that the article for Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange is written without obvious bias as it is at the center of discussions about The Atlanta Public Safety Training Center (Cop City). The descriptive information in this article is slanted and needs to be rewritten by someone using sources that are not biased, opinionated, and questionable to describe the crux of the article. The content in this article is better suited to describe one opinion about GILEE in a "Controversy" category of the article. This article was edited by a user in October of 2023 to add the bulk of the article's content while relying on very few references, some of which are biased opinion pieces with an obvious political stance. For instance, the edits rely on a blog post titled "From Atlanta to Palestine: The Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange" from MAINLINE, a source where current top stories on May 2, 2024 include, "We are occupying Emory University to demand immediate divestment from Israel and Cop City" and "Queer in the Fight to Stop Cop City". More of the article depends on an opinion piece titled "U.S. Police are Being Trained by Israel—And Communities of Color Are Paying the Price" from The Progressive Magazine, a source with an obvious progressive/pro-Palestine bias. For instance, today (May 2, 2024), the front page articles on The Progressive Magazine include a variety of biased titles such as, "The Crackdown on Campus Protests Is a Bipartisan Strategy to Repress Pro-Palestine Speech." Whether you agree or disagree with these opinion pieces is immaterial. It is plain to see that the user who wrote this article came to it with bias and relied on biased opinion piece sources as a form of protest. Hexagonlover (talk) 16:13, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
