Is the Edgehill (where G.W. Anderson was born) mentioned in Dictionary of Virginia Biography article same as Edge Hill (Shadwell, Virginia)? Especially plausible since Anderson's mother, Jane Margaret Randolph Anderson was Thomas Jefferson's granddaughter and the house was built was Thomas Jefferson Randolph, oldest grandson of Thomas Jefferson. This source doesn't list Jane Margaret Randolph Anderson as Thomas Jefferson's granddaughter though, and I'm very confused by it but it may be useful. Okay, these people shared too many names; there are like 3 people for every 3 word name. And confusion arises because of this. I've no idea about the genealogy of George Wayne Anderson but this entry on Geni.com might be helpful. But note that Geni.com is not considered a reliable source (see WP:RSP entry). this source here says that Jane Margaret Randolph (Anderson) was the great-granddaughter, not the granddaughter, of Thomas Jefferson. So, that's a inaccuracy in the Dictionary of Virginia Biography article. TryKid[dubious – discuss]11:34, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
