Sourcing
[edit]I just added a {{refimprove}} tag. I'm not keen on the use of the WildHare Services source: while it's an extremely well-written account, it doesn't cite its sources and is at a personal site, so not really up to WP:RS requirements. Gordonofcartoon (talk) 01:14, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Name
[edit]The gravestone is G.W. Hayward and George Whitaker Hayward is attested. Are we sure about the 'Jonas'? Google seems to suggest some sources use 'Jones', although that could be OCR screwups, and the Royal Geographical Society provides his letters under the name 'G. S. W. Hayward'. This source lists him as George S. W. Hayward and misdates (?) his death to 17 July 1869. — LlywelynII 14:40, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
