Not first Asian military academy grad
[edit]Military history of Asian Americans directly contradicts the claims in this article that Shibata was the first Asian grad of a US military academy; though it does appear he was the first Japanese_American such grad. See this in the article I listed: "In 1934, Gordon Pai'ea Chung-Hoon became the first Asian American U.S. citizen to graduate from the Naval Academy, and the first Asian American West Point graduate, Wing Fook Jung, graduated in 1940."
Note Gordon has an article but Wing doesn't.

- I made a small change. I am not 100% sure if that fulfils your needs though. Feel free to make more suggestions here. Commander Keane (talk) 04:19, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
- Works for me, thanks! 70.161.8.90 (talk) 12:56, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
