No Man Is An Island--the movie
[edit]I just saw the movie telling Tweed's story while hiding from the Japanese on Guam. It was made in 1962. What I took note of in the movie was that the natives of Guam, while portrayed as Chamorros, were in fact, Filipinos. Even the language itself, while the movie claimed it was Chamorro, was Tagalog. It just goes to show the lack of research done by "Hollywood" at the time. If ever an article is made about this movie, this information should be noted. Until such time, I figure it belongs here.Jlujan69 13:20, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
I saw the movie and read the book, Robinson Cruse, USN. The lack of research by Hollywood is not just at the cultural level. Many of the scenes and events in the movie are totally fabricated. [User:roshevl|roshevl]] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.81.72.121 (talk) 19:12, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
