Shortest serving 19thC MP?

[edit]

I wonder if he ranks as the shortest serving MP of that century? Service is difficult to calculate as the 1885 general election was not nationally on a single polling day but spread over a period extending 25th November-18th December 1885. I have noted in the article his death took place 5 days after the polling closed. The Wikipedia article on the election does not state date Parliament assembled, and the article on the constituency gives no polling day date.Cloptonson (talk) 15:33, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
