As it is a hard thing to find (if not impossible), if anyone has the original books by G. Estabrooks online (especially "Hypnotism" - it's in PD, or isn't it?), it would be greatly appreciated if you could add the link to the book. I could only find a portion of it, but it seems to be a false or highly adultered copy of the original - hubbard-the-hypnotist. (Can anyone attest to its falsehood or its genuineness?) As a crucial, key figure on hypnosis' hystory (and highly cited), there's a need for Estabrooks' knowledge to be spread and kept alive in its original form.

     ====================

While they no longer have it, I recall reading his book "Hypnotism" at my local Queens Borough Public Library (NYC) back in the mid 1960s. It certainly seemed (from my fading memory) to be well thought and sourced. There are a couple of copies listed in the usual internet second hand book sourced. wiki-ny-2007 (talk) 19:09, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
