[edit]The following are notes added by Wendy Llewellyn to the article, subsequently removed but here for reference:
- 'As the only granddaughter of the late Capt and Mrs Llewellyn, my grandmother (Aileen Morant) had 7 brothers and sisters! My great Aunt Alice (née Morant) who became Mrs Wilfred Ward-Hunt was certainly one! There was also a brother who was a parish priest (Batcombe and Upton Noble) and who I believe went to India at some point (this may have been Edgar).'
Unsurprisingly, Wendy, being a member of the family, is correct in saying the number given in the article is incorrect: G. D. Morant's Times obituary dated 15 February 1921 credits him with three sons and four daughters. Checking Burke's Landed Gentry 1952 has Morant 'leaving issue' three sons and four daughters; perhaps one child predeceased him as per Wendy's account. The article will be updated with the 1952 entry's details. Ashiyura (talk) 00:34, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
