- Not done: It needs to be covered in secondary sources to show it is noteworthy. Wikipedia is not a vehicle to publicize what is on someone's personal website. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:38, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
- The statements in question are regarding events that the person is involved with in the community, and the documentation of his involvement in these community events is a source providing proof of his involvement. I am unsure of what other sorts of secondary sources to provide OttawaResident74 (talk) 01:06, 24 August 2022 (UTC)

change x: Darouze has supported Conservative Member of Parliament Pierre Poilievre, as well as the previous councillor for Osgoode Ward, Doug Thompson.[4] After deciding not to run for re-election in 2014, Thompson endorsed Darouze. Thompson had previously stated he would remain neutral.[5] In July 2022, Doug Thompson registered to run as a candidate in Osgoode Ward for the upcoming municipal election in October 2022.[6]

change x: == Integrity commissioner investigation and lawsuit == According to CBC News, Darouze "tried to silence a woman who criticized him on social media during last fall's [2018] municipal election by writing to her husband's boss, the chief of police, according to a scathing report from the city's integrity commissioner."[1]
The complaint was received on March 12, 2019.[2]
The commissioner stated that "on a balance of probabilities, I find that the major motivation of the councillor was to bully and intimidate the complainants and each of them in the hope that female complainant might cease her critical Facebook commentary of him." The commissioner further wrote that it was written "for the primary reason of silencing the female complainant and causing the male complainant grief in his workplace."[1]
Darouze was criticized online over the matter.[3][4]
The complainant and her husband subsquently filed a lawsuit against Darouze for alleged damages of $32,500, as reported on June 19, 2020. Following the commissioner's report, Darouze had emailed the couple, stating: “I have learned that you perceived my actions to be harassing and for that I am truly sorry.”[5]
On February 24, 2021 (Anti-Bullying Day), Darouze posted on his Facebook page "let's all be mindful to to stand up against bullying today and everyday, all year!"[6]
On August 11, 2022, it was reported that the couple had dropped their lawsuit against Darouze. The coupled stated that they realized a trial would chew up more time and money than they were willing to spend. The couple also said they were also concerned that property taxpayers could be on the hook for any damages. The complainant, Kristen Lechleitner, stated that she had considered running in the 2022 municipal elections against Darouze, and ended up volunteering on the campaign of candidate and former councillor Doug Thompson.[7]

change x: non-existent
to y: add the councillor's website and campaign website, due to the fact that an opponent (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Doug_Thompson) has his on his page. Either add this councillor's websites as well or remove from both.
if choosing to add, this councillor's websites appear to be: https://www.georgedarouze.ca/ https://reelectgeorgedarouze.ca/home
I am indifferent as to whether you add these or remove from the other, but feel that they should be similar in the spirit of fairness OttawaResident74 (talk) 15:40, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
- Done - Darouze's official website was already in the External links section. I removed the campaign website link from the Doug Thompson article - that had no place being there. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:41, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
