Often he's listed, for instance on the cover of the Drummers' and Fifer's guide as George B. Bruce (not G.). Should that be changed? Which one is his middle initial? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.198.113.130 (talk) 18:59, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Been 7 years... but I moved the page to George Barrett Bruce since you guys are both right. George B. Bruce is the correct initial. His birth name was George B. Barrett (assuming the B was for Bruce, but unconfirmed so its not in the article). Later in life I think he just switched his middle and last name. But anyways the fact that his middle initial is B and stands for Barrett can be found in Connecticut’s Fife and Drum Tradition by James Clark, in case anyone cares.
