[edit]Is this about Georg Glockendon the Elder or G. G. the Younger? The same question applies to Albrecht Glockendon. Lithoderm 02:38, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
- Apparently it's about the Elder: a painting by GG the Younger here is dated 1548, decades after the Elder GG died. Lithoderm 02:41, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
- I hadn't heard of the younger set -- I never did get around to fleshing these articles out -- but I'm not surprised that there are multiple generations of artists/engravers with the same name: they were pretty prominent in their field. I'll see if I can find out any more... Thanks for the images! :) Kafka Liz (talk) 02:31, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hoof, another extensive family of artists... I never got around to the rest of the von Kügelgens... Lithoderm 02:38, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
