[edit]Would it be rude of me to say that the use of the word "famous" in this article needs to be whittled down a bit?Lulu Jannings 09:13, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- Not rude at all. Three or four such instances of "famous" - which he clearly is not - are now toned down.

According to a now defunct UK magazine 1-2-Testing, Geordie does not use Chorus as part of his effects. The chorus like sound is achieved by means of a delay line between two amplifiers. In fact, a graphic reproduction of Geordie's amp and effects rig can be seen at www.guitargeek.com
Equipment
[edit]When I saw them (about 4 or 5 times in the 80s and 90s) he was using a Korg SDD-3000 delay and an ADA rack distortion/preamp.
