I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:03, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • DAB for Toledo needs to be resolved. No issues with external links and all images appropriately licensed.
  • Is his birthplace and date known?
  • Need place of pub for Setton; put Evergates in title case.
  • Link to Skorta
Disambiguated Toledo, Skorta is already linked, and fixed Setton. I don't get what you want me to do re Evergates, though. On his birth date and location, the situation is a bit confused: the Chronicle of the Morea implies in one passage that it happened in the castle of Karytaina, which was built by Hugh, whom it names as Geoffrey's father; later on it credits Geoffrey with building the castle, which is also what most modern historians accept (and is stated in this article). This rather confused testimony has apparently been enough to place his birth in Greece (as implied by Bon's assessment), and Evergates places his birth shortly after his father came to Greece, ca. 1223. Apart from this, however, there is no evidence as to either date or location, and most of the reputable sources I have consulted sidestep the issue altogether. I am in two minds over whether and how to include this, and wanted to bring it up with the GA reviewer either way. I am leaning towards keeping it short and simply stating that he is "considered the first of his family to have been born in Greece, which is conjectured to have occurred ca. 1223", and leave it at that. For more detail I would need full access to Evergate's paper, which I don't have. Constantine 20:33, 31 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'd go ahead and put in the best guess as to his birthplace and date. Evergates needs the title of his article capitalized properly and then we'll be done.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 01:08, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Constantine 09:18, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
