I think there were at least rumours in the media about the Courtnalls being interested in buying the Canucks before the Aquilini deal. Also, he had a restaurant chain (or was it just one?). And wasn't there something about him and his bro's starting a resort somewhere up the coast some years ago? I'll have to look into all this, as their names pop up from time to time not relating with hockey, but still worth a note.--Keefer4 | Talk01:17, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The Courtnalls are investing in a logging thing, and I do believe the resort is part of it. I don't want to write anything yet, because this is all just local talk, and I haven't looked up any sources to prove it, though I'm certain I could if I tried at all.
