[edit]

I think Gent of Leicester would be a better title but it is shown as Gents' in one of the references. Please discuss. Biscuittin (talk) 15:39, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Updates to product categories

[edit]

I've updated the product categories (mostly addressable stuff) and expanded on System 3300. I have a 3300 'Hornstyle' sounder somewhere and will add a picture if I can find it. Ps14159 (talk) 16:48, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your work on this page! Your contributions are excellent! Jguiii (talk) 21:19, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

34000 & 3300

[edit]

Got some more information about System 3300 and its devices which I will be adding shortly. User:Jguiii, just to confirm, have you seen a Vigilon-style panel with 35000 written on the label or is this a typo? I've only ever seen 34000 on the front such as the one at 00:45 in this video. I assume 35000 was some form of codename for Vigilon - earliest mention of it I can find is a 1998 installation manual for a product called 'Vigilon V3+'. Ps14159 (talk) 22:09, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Ps14159 Yeah, this was probably a typo.
I don't recall seeing a Vigilon with 35000 on it, either is mistook the 34000 for 35000 or it was just a typo. Jguiii (talk) 22:11, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

On the topic of logic levels

[edit]
Gent 3217 protocol capture

Many thanks Jeff Doggett for your contribution correcting the logic levels. I've only been able to infer things using a logic analyser and potential divider connected to the loop terminals so your corrections are much appreciated. I assume that the attached screen grab of find device on address 170 is correct. Ps14159 (talk) 21:10, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
