The article doesn’t cover prokaryotic genomes, most of the references are ten or twenty years old, junk DNA isn’t discussed, all of the interesting questions are covered in other articles. There is far too much redundancy, repetition, and conflicting data in molecular biology articles. We need to clean it up.

If nobody comments in the next few weeks, I’ll take that as approval to remove the article and add a redirect to C-value. Genome42 (talk) 15:49, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
