Personal History

[edit]

Genie was born Emma Gene Broadfoot on 24 Jan 1927 in Dallas, Texas and died 5 May 1998 in Juneau, Alaska. I'm not editing the article because it is the result of original research, based on official birth and death records that aren't valid sources in Wikipedia. She is buried with her second husband, Bill Boardman, in Evergreen Cemetery in Juneau. Her first husband, Winston Cash Chance, was born 12 Apr 1922 and died 4 Dec 1984. They married in 1947. Perhaps someone could find published sources to correct the article. I would point out that the obituary cited as a source is no longer available via the link and the newspaper has no "archive" online that I could find. There are extensive papers available but seem mostly of interest to earthquake researchers, social scientists, and political scholars. Pnoble805 (talk) 00:17, 23 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
