Small correction proposal in a church name.

As I have no editing rights on this page the name Marantha might be correctly changed to Maranatha. Thank you. Fred Mobach (talk) 23:20, 15 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Freedom Flotilla West Papua

[edit]

This section doesn't seem to be really related to the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, except in having a similar name. This isn't an article about freedom flotillas in general. Mauls (talk) 10:21, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suggesting deletion of one paragraph is "Motives" section

[edit]

This final paragraph: In a public address in October 2010 on Al-Aqsa TV, Abd Al-Razzaq Al-Maqri, Head of Moroccan and Algerian Delegation to the Gaza Convoy, stated, according to a translation published by MEMRI, that "the mujahideen have told us that they decided not to defeat the oppressive Jews by gunfire, but instead, by daggers. is based on a single link that is no longer live. In the archived version (https://web.archive.org/web/20101125100036/http://www.memritv.org/clip_transcript/en/2682.htm), there is no clear reference to the Flotilla participants or their motives, only the the Gaza Convoy that took place months later. The whole paragraph should be deleted. DavidHeap (talk) 13:49, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That's removed now. Iskandar323 (talk) 19:47, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Iskandar323!

Please make the following change to the article, in the opening paragraph:

was a flotilla (small fleet of ships) carrying humanitarian aid and construction materials with the intention of breaking the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip.

was a flotilla (small fleet of ships) carrying weapons, humanitarian aid and construction materials with the intention of breaking the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip.

here is a video of IDF showing the "War trophy" IDF have collected from the ships. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvS9PXZ3RWM

in the guardian article Israel's deputy foreign minister, Danny Ayalon, is quoted: "...On board the ship we found weapons that were prepared in advance and used against our forces. The organisers' intent was violent, their method was violent, and unfortunately, the results were violent."
