POV tag
[edit]I left the POV tag because the article is mostly sourced to Israeli government sources and it shows. This or that (from a quick online search) might help for a rewrite. There are probably non-English sources, too (but I cannot search for them).
Also, this opinion piece says “Gaza envelope” — what Israelis call the Gaza area —
so the title might not be neutral. TigraanClick here to contact me 13:17, 24 February 2020 (UTC)

The section that refers to the Palestinian March of Return in 2018 is a woefully ignorant assessment. It establishes the largely unarmed demonstrations as a “clash” between Palestinian “militants” and the IDF. This is just historical revision. It goes on to cite the Palestinian use of stones and occasionally Molotovs as evidence yet makes no mention of the hundreds of Palestinians indiscriminately murdered by IDF sniper fire not to mention the many more left maimed for life because of the IDFs favorite tactic of shooting protestors in the ankle. It’s blatant propaganda to attempt to paint the protestors as violent militants who in reality caused no deaths while downplaying and omitting the hundreds murdered by intentional sniper fire. Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Cannolis (talk) 20:07, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
